Test device for doors and windows, Lakome Ovex

Idea

The quality of products in the construction industry has to be carefully defined to quarantee safe and resistant solutions. The test device named Lakome Ovex has designed to test doors and windows comprehensively with automation. Lakome Ovex accurately tests and classifies the quality of doors and windows. Test methods and classifications are based on the standards of the European Committee for Standardization (CEN):

• Air permeability: EN 1026:2000, EN 12207:1999
• Resistance to wind load: EN 12211:2000, EN 12210:1999
• Watertightness: EN 1027:2000, EN 12208:1999

Structure

The main structure of the test device is a two-chambered test room in which a door or a window will be brought with separate framework. The test device can be applied to doors and windows with maximum dimensions of 2130 mm (height) and 1230 mm (width). Water nozzles are located at distinct supporting frame and they are freely controllable. Over and under pressurization is accurately controlled. There are also water tank, water pump, pipe system and control system in the test device. The control centre of the device is equipped with control logic of Siemens S7-200 –serie. Control panel is used via TP070- touch sensitive keyboard.

Operation

Lakome Ovex is comprehensive, automatized and easy to use. No other test system is needed. The device tests all contents of the standards with one test drive. The test program is predetermined. The control system collects test results automatically and moves information on Excel-sheet. The results are easy to analyze in Excel.

Tire handling wagon, Lakome Fix

Idea

Lakome Fix is designed to make easier the handling of heavy weight vehicles. The capacity of the device is 1200 kg and the diameter of the tires should be 500-2250 mm. The wagon is especially suited for releasing and installing of tires to vehicles and construction machines. Tires can also be lifted up and transferred.

Structure

When a tire is on the wagon, the center of the tire is vacant to be operated. The lifting of the tire is accomplished by mechanical screw via horizontal motion of rollers. Because of that solution the force needed on the lift is very small. The device is easy to use with a balance wheel and it can be equipped with compressed air or electric torsion bar. The device is equipped with large nylon wheels and therefore it is sensitive and stable to move even in the outdoors. There is a safety chain to ensure that the tire does not fall down.

Boat terminal

Idea

The boat terminal is a novel solution for storing boats. The boat places are settled in circular arrangements and there is a stockroom equipped with a lock in the middle of the platform. This solution allows using (lake) shores some other way than for boat storing, and the entity is visually spectacular. Platforms, fairways and structures (+ materials) of the stockroom can be selected according to the target.

Structure

Boat places are steplessly adjustable in the direction of the circle, so it is possible to adjust specifically the right sized place for each boat. Barriers can be moved, supplemented, removed or changed for different type according to demands. These operations do not require any special tools or changes in structures. One boat terminal can serve many different types of boats; from small rowing-boats to big motor- or sailing boats, not forgetting canoes and wave runners.

There is a stockroom equipped with a lock in the middle of the boat terminal for boat owners. Boating apparatus can be stored near the boat without the need of continual transportation. It is possible to supply the stockroom with extra services, for example water or electrical source. Centered and illuminated boat parking enables the use of efficient control and alarm systems.

Applicability

The boat terminal is applicable even for inferior shores, because the entity needs only one platform plug on the shore. The boat terminal itself is placed farther from the shoreline and is anchored to the bottom of the (lake). The boat terminal is functional as such an entity or it can be linked to other similar kinds of entities. Existing quays can also be widened with it. It is possible to compose different activities in the place of stockroom, for example concession stands.

Roller base for boats

Idea

The roller base is suitable for rowing- and motor-boats with the length of 3-5 meters. The big wheels of the base make it easy to move a boat. The base can be used in different types of terrain; on rocky shore or soft beach. It is possible to place the base partly on water, when it is much easier to pull the boat on the base. The framework of the base acts as a “platform” and anti-skid material of the framework ensures low risk movements.

Structure

The module structure with a simple concept allows packing the product in a small and tractable package. Assembly of the product is managed with a couple of screw connections. Materials and components used in the product ensure its’ long working life.

Deer shooting range for air gun

Idea

The deer shooting range is designed for air gun shooting on a movable target. The dimensions of a full size deer shooting range have been designed for short distances in air gun shooting.

Structure

The product can be used in both indoors and outdoors. The device is electrically operated (extra-low safety voltage 12 VDC) and can be connected to plug box or car battery. External dimensions are 3500*240*90 mm and shooting distance is 10 m. The box is made of solid, galvanized thin plate, which guarantees a long working life and tight fixation on existing structures.

Applicability

The speed of the target and delays at the ends are steplessly adjustable so the product can be used in many different types of shooting practices. There is an option to program the product to repeat desired or random operation cycles. It is also possible to use some other than deer targets, even the buyer’s own targets.
